The Mosman Rider - also known as "The Whale" - is a free community bus service that links all the key destinations of Mosman. It travels a circular route, starting at Balmoral Beach on the hour and half hour between 8 am and 5.30 pm seven days a week. For full details of the route, click here.
Whether you are a visitor to our suburb wanting to sample some of its delights, or a new resident wanting to get to know the place, walking is definitely your best option. Clean Energy for Eternity has prepared a set of eleven short walks which start and/or end on the route of the Mosman Rider. Each walk takes about an hour (much longer if you linger at the varous attractions you find en route). The walks have been carefully designed so that in the main you walk downhill, leaving it to the Whale to take you back up to your starting point.
So next time you have an hour or so free and want to get some fresh air and exercise, download the single A4 sheet pdf of one of these walks, hail the Whale and get on your way. Even if you have lived in Mosman all your life we guarantee you will find something new.
